I’m joined in this performance of “Down Under” by Cecilia Noel and San Miguel Pérez and we are sending lots of love from our little woodlands across the big water to Save Western Port Woodlands!
What would you rather ask your kids? – “Hey kids you wanna go play down the sandmine?” or “Do you want to play down where the sacred forest meets the sea?”
I love trees – alone, in a bunch – old growth forests are my favorite. There continues to be so much desecration of forests all across the world. The crucial habitat of Western Port Woodlands for so many animals, flora and fauna, is under imminent threat, and needs our help. I’m pleased to join over 14 environmental groups to ask you to call and urge the Victorian government to preserve this fragile and beautiful coastal corridor from sand mining permanently. Please give it some thought – if not for yourself, for your children and grandchildren.
