Colin Hay may be familiar to fans around the world for his time as frontman for Men At Work, but in the past decade and a half he’s garnered a devoted following for his solo work as a singer-songwriter, too. Now, Hay has announced that his latest solo effort, the forthcoming full-length Next Year People, will be released in February via Compass Records. The album was produced by Hay and mixed by Chad Fischer, and like much of his previous work it also features vocal contributions from Hay’s wife Cecilia Noël.
In anticipation of the release, Hay has shared album track “Trying To Get To You.” Listen to the song in the player above. Next Year People is set for release on Feb. 17.
